BSEB Compartment Exam Scrutiny 2026 Begins From May 25

The Bihar School Examination Board has announced that the scrutiny process for the Class 10 and Class 12 compartmental-cum-special examination results 2026 will begin from May 25, 2026. Students who are dissatisfied with their marks in the recently declared compartment or special examination results will be able to apply online for answer sheet scrutiny through the official BSEB portal.

According to the board, the scrutiny application window will remain open till May 29, 2026. Eligible candidates can submit their requests online by visiting the official website - BSEB Official Portal.

The scrutiny facility has been introduced for students who believe there may have been errors during the evaluation process. Candidates can apply if they suspect:

• Mistakes in totaling marks
• Unchecked answers
• Incorrect posting of marks on the scorecard
• Errors in tabulation

However, the Bihar School Examination Board clarified that the scrutiny process does not include complete re-evaluation or fresh checking of answer sheets. Only technical and calculation-related verification will be carried out during the process.

The compartmental-cum-special examinations were conducted for students who:

• Failed in one or two subjects in the annual board examination
• Missed the examination due to special circumstances
• Sought another opportunity to pass without losing an academic year

Recently, the board declared the results for both matric (Class 10) and Intermediate (Class 12) compartment examinations, enabling many students to continue their higher education and admission process.
