Whereas G20 countries are responsible for 80 percent of global carbon emissions. There are 54 countries in Africa and each will hardly get a million dollar to fight climate change which is a joke, He added. He was speaking about the Rotterdam summit which was set up to discuss climate change financing for Africa ahead of the 27th annual summit of the UN Climate Change Conference (COP27). The COP27 will be held this November in Egypt. Developed nations had pledged in the Rotterdam summit to donate about bn by 2025 to boost Africa’s efforts to adapt to climate change. 3rd edition of WADA Athlete Biological Passport (ABP) Symposium is being held in India

National Anti Doping Agency (NADA) along with NDTL are hosting this global event in New Delhi from October 12 to 14, 2022. Doping test is taken to prevent sportsperson from taking undue advantage of performance enhancing drugs in order to win games. The first WADA ABP Symposium was hosted by Qatar in 2015 while Italy had hosted the second edition in 2018. Over 200 participants from 56 Countries including WADA Officials, athletes, anti doping experts and laboratories are attending this anti-doping symposium.
