CAT 2026 online registration will start on 01 August, 2026 and will close on 20 September, 2026. The CAT 2026 exam will be held on 29 November, 2026. It will be administered across three distinct sessions at over 170 test cities in India.
The CAT exam is a national-level management entrance test for admission to MBA/PGP courses at the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs). Candidates who are interested must check and meet the strict eligibility criteria to apply on the official website: iimcat.ac.in.
The CAT 2026 exam will be conducted in Slot-1 Morning Session, Slot-2 in Afternoon Session and Slot-3 Evening Session. The CAT 2026 Exam date and Session timings are:

A candidate has to arrive at the CAT exam centre on the CAT exam date 90 minutes before the commencement of the CAT exam. Only Admit Card & Photo ID Card are allowed inside the CAT test hall.
Mobile phones, electronic gadgets, watches, calculators, stationery items, papers, wallets, goggles or similar such things as they are not allowed inside the test hall on CAT exam date.
